Willie Lee Walker

Mr. Willie Lee Walker was born on June 5, 1959 in Camilla, Georgia. He was the son of the late Queen E. Moore and George Lee Walker, Sr. He peacefully transitioned from this life on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Willie was a father, friend, and family member to many. He attended Pelham High School. He also loved to farm. He later moved to Barwick, Georgia and began working for the City of Barwick for almost 20 years. He later retired in 2023. He met and married the love of his life, Mrs. Sarah Walker in 2002.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Queen E. Moore and George Walker, Sr. His three sisters: Charlotte Johnson, Sherry Dennis, and Diane Walker. His one brother, Nathaniel Walker.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Sarah L. Walker. His children: Trinity Lee Walker, Tracy D. Walker, Latoya Walker, Marshall Randall, Shaylee Walker, Sohnlee Walker, and Saamson T. Johnson. His stepsons: LaTreveon Gosier and Laroy Lamons. His sisters: Geraldine McNeil of Funston, Georgia, Carolyn Walker of Moultrie, Georgia, Cynthia Walker of Funston, Georgia, Teresa Gardner (Timothy) of Funston, Georgia, Marie Gardner of Funston, Georgia, and his brother, George Walker, Jr., of Funston, Georgia. His mother-in-law, Nicie Lee Gosier and brother-in-law, Walter Gosier, Jr. His sister-in-laws: Cynthia Dawson (Benny) of Thomasville, Georgia, Sandra Gosier of Barwick, Georgia, Florence Wooten (Jackie) of Cairo, Georgia, Rose Jackson of Barwick, Georgia, Monica Arnold (Timothy) of Barwick, Georgia, Linda Robinson (Curtis) of Valdosta, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the Stevens-McGhee Chapel from 1PM-6PM.

A celebration of life will be Sunday, March 22, 2026 at 1PM at White Rock Church in Moultrie, GA with Bishop Archie Skipper, officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Pallbearers Cemetery #2 in Moultrie, GA. Visit this website to view a livestream of the celebration on Sunday.
