Graveside service for Leamon Grier, Sr. 83, will be Sunday, March 22, 2026 at noon at the Anniston Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jeffrey C. Williams, officiating. Mr. Grier passed away on March 15, 2026. Mr. Grier worked at St. Agnes Hospital in White Plains, NY until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife: Frances Grier; his daughter: Tamara Grier; his son:. Leamon Grier, Jr.; his brother: Charles R. Grier; his sisters: Dora B. Grier and Brenda Dobbins; bother in- law: Walter (Carmen); special sisters in-law: Tara Lynn Bose, Sherry Jackson; a special niece: Tonya Bradley; a very special grandson: Julian Sledge (Amanda); great granddaughter: Violet M.Sledge, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elyard Grier and Flora Chewing Grier, sisters, Catherine Spencer, Earnestine Reece, brothers, Edward Grier, Samuel "Chop Chop" Grier, nephews, Mario Dobbins, Donald Grier and brother in- law, Ralph D.
