Mr. John Garrett, of Lake City, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at VA Medical Center in Lake City, Florida.

Memoria Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11 AM from the chapel of Vann Funeral Home in Marianna, Florida with the Reverend Reuben Merritt, officiating.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

One Daughter: Nicole Murray of San Antonio, Texas

One Brother: Cleveland Garrett of Bronx, New York

Two Sisters: Alkanease Williams and Linda Garrett both of Tallahassee, Florida

One Grandson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
