Ms. Lucinda Robinson was born on July 6, 1957, in Alvaton, Meriwether County, Georgia, to the late Mrs. Hexie Lee Keith Robinson and the late Mr. Bennie Lee Robinson. At an early age, she joined Shiloh Baptist Church.
Lucinda attended McCrary Elementary School and Woodbury High School during her formal education years. After completing her education, she worked at Paschall Cotton Mills in Peachtree City, Georgia, along with several other jobs throughout her career.
Later in life, Lucinda devoted much of her time to caring for her family. She lovingly cared for her elderly mother, and after her mother’s passing, she served as a caregiver for her brother until his death. She also cared for her father until his health declined and hospice care assumed responsibility.
Lucinda was known as a homebody who enjoyed the comfort and peace of her home. She loved spending time with family and friends, watching television, completing crossword puzzles, and cooking meals for her loved ones. Those who spent time with her appreciated her quiet yet humorous personality. She also enjoyed occasional shopping trips and treating herself to takeout from a good restaurant when she did not feel like cooking.
Lucinda was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Willie Lee Robinson; one niece, Tomekia Turman; and one nephew, Walter Lee Turman, Jr.
On Thursday, March 5, 2026, the Lord called Lucinda home from labor to rest. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Mrs. Mableleen Turman of Gay, GA; a brother-in-law, Mr. Walter Turman, Sr. of Atlanta, GA; nieces and nephews include: Marcus (Shiquita) Turman of Jonesboro, GA, Kandji Hill of Lutherville, GA, Lakizzy Robinson and Willie (Jennifer) Robinson, both of Senoia, GA, and Alonzo Robinson (Festiva Blount) of Newnan, GA; eight great-nieces and great-nephews; a brotherly cousin, Floyd Harris; along with a host of other close cousins and friends.
