Ronnie touched a lot of people's lives and His legacy of being so caring and protective of friends, family and even strangers is being left behind for others to follow his example. Ronnie was known to many of us in Windsor Forest as The General. In fact, I didn't even know his real name for the first six months as his neighbor. As The General, he had a great command on state politics and all the dirt in our neighborhood. I'll miss our conversations and not having our community watchdog. Rest In Peace, General.

- Jamie

We all loved Ronnie! He was our neighborhood watchdog. I will miss waving to him everyday during my comings and goings. I remember last summer I locked myself out of my house and he allowed me and my dog to come in his house until I had someone bring me a key. I don't think he was happy about having my dog in his house, but he welcomed us in. I will miss him. Rest in peace forever Ronnie. The neighborhood will not be the same without you.

- Nicole

Ronnie was such a good neighbor. We will miss him dearly. He is now in God's arms and at peace. Prayers for all his family

I wish to extend my condolences to the family of Ronnie Moore. I first met Ronnie about 1977 when we were both working with labor organizations and later with non profits that assisted women and minorities in obtaining employment. Later we again worked together with NCDOT's Civil Rights Office. I considered Ronnie a friend and will miss him greatly. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Ronnie is now free of pain and the problems of this world. May Ronnie rest in peace.

To the family Words cannot expressed how deeply sorry I am for your lost. It brings sadness in my heart when I hear another individual has fallen asleep in death. But from what I know is that we have a loving God whose name is Jehovah. (Psalms 83:18). Jehovah God loves us all and He also suffered the same amount of pain and sadness that you are all experiencing. But one thing that Jehovah God can do that we cannot is bring back our love ones. John 5: 28, 29 says: 'Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.' Yes, Jehovah will send his son Jesus Christ to resurrect all our loves ones where we all can live on a paradise earth forever! Please, don't think this is just a mere fantasy dream. Jehovah will carry this out. He is a God of love. (1 John 4:8) I know the pain still hurts but please, keep Jehovah God close to you to help you endure. I've attached an online tract from our website jw.org called 'Can the Dead Really Live Again?' with scriptural information to support that question. This information and more could hopefully help you as you grieve. Again, I'm sorry for your lost; Please feel free to reach out if possible. My condolences to the family. https://www.jw.org/finder?pub=t-35&wtlocale=E&srcid=share

Ronnie was an access to politics across the State of North Carolina. I learned so much from him. In the seriousness of being a community activist ~~ he was a fun loving person. He taught many of us that ' with confidence we can achieve.' I pray his transition was complete~~
