Gone but not forgotten.

MRS. OBEREE BROWN PHILLIPS, daughter of the late Vance and Adlean Jiggetts Brown was born December 17, 1955 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia and departed this life March 15, 2026 in Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford, North Carolina.

At an early age she was baptized and joined Diamond Grove RZUA Church in Union Level, Virginia. She was a graduate of the former Park View Senior High School.

Oberee was married to the late Cecil T. Phillips and to this union a daughter was born.

She was employed for more than thirty years as a Home Health Aide until her health began to decline.

Oberee leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted daughter- Michelle Phillips-Crute and Thomas Crute; three grandchildren- Shaantae Roberts, E’Llisa and Marcus Crute; three great grands- Liliana Minor, Logan and Mason Crute; 2 sisters- Annie Crenshaw and Flora (Larry) Noel; a brother- Willie (Shelia) Jiggetts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
