To: Dad and Shipman Family I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot be with you today; but please know that my prayers are with you. May the family find peace during this time. Know that God can mend broken hearts with time and prayers. Love to all.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this difficult time. I will always remember Pat for that beautiful voice. I will never forget the first time my husband heard her sing, he had tears running down his face. My husband grew up in church. I truly believe when he heard Pat sing, it made him want to get back in church. The next year he joined Peace. I lost him in 2008. But he had told me when he passed, he wanted Pat to sing. I asked her to sing and she didn't hesitate! We both LOVED that beautiful, amazing voice. Not only did she have a beautiful voice, she was a beautiful person. I feel blessed to have known such a lovely person. The Carnegie family

I am very sorry for your family's loss. The loss of a loved one can be the most difficult thing that a person may have to ever experience in their lives. Please allow me to share something that has brought me some comfort in difficult times. Revelation chapter 21 and verse 4 says 'And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will morning nor outcry nor pain anymore the former things have passed away.' Imagine a world where death and pain are gone, and where there will be no tears because the bad things we deal with today will be done away with. How beautiful it will be for us also to see our loved ones again as the bible fortells. (John 5:28,29) I hope that this has brought you a measure of comfort. And may the God of all comfort, comfort you during this difficult time.

- Jason

My thoughts are with you and the family and how death robs us of our loved ones. Jehovah God has promised to remove death, sickness, and pain from the earth and reunite us with our loved one on a cleansed earth in the future. (Revelation 21:4; John 5:28,29; John 17:3; Psalms 83:18)  In the meantime you can be sure that God understands how you feel now! The Bible assures us: 'He is healing the brokenhearted ones, And is binding up there painful spots.' Psalms 147:3

- D.Peete

I am sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection(Acts 24:15)and the renewed Paradise earth, where death will be no more and no family will mourn the death of a loved one.-Revelation 21:3,4;John 5:28,29;Luke 23:43. may GOD(Psalms 83:18)grant you peace and comfort now, during this grievous time.-Matthew 5:4.

To the family my deepest sympathy, may you all know that she is now a angel in her fathers house with that same sweet smile and singing his praise with that beautiful voice, the bible says,Christ will give you a brand-new identity and in REV.2:17'I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it.' So I say to the family something I heard,it goes like this, IN A LITTLE WHILE YOU WILL NOT SEE HER, AND IN A LITTLE WHILE YOU WILL SEE HER, BECAUSE SHE GOES TO THE FATHER AND WE SHALL ALL MEET AGAIN. To the Shipman and Smith Families.... Although OUR hearts are heavy with grief in the home-going of OUR dear Pat, we must take comfort in the assurance of the words of our Lord in John 14:1-3, 'Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also'. We will miss her presence, her beautiful smile and her melodious voice. God sees our tears and will comfort us in the darkest hours. Love, James and Beverly Graham
