Theresa King, 76, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on March 16, 2026. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Fri., March 27, 2026 at Jones Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be held 11:00am on Sat., March 28, 2026 at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial will be held at Palms Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Willie King; her parents, her sister, Shirley Mays, and her brothers, Daniel Mays Jr. and Rommell Mays.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters, Lesley Morris (Alonzo), April King, and Kesha King-Hokey(Joe); her son, Antonio Walden King; sisters, Inez Webb (Ron), Gwendolyn Mays, and Darlene Sloan (Johnnie), Julia Gwin, Glenda Williams, Eugen King (Debbie); along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family; special friend, Rameses Dixon; dear friends.
