James Edward Johnson, 75, of Memphis, TN passed away on March 25, 2026 at V A Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. James was born on October 15, 1950 to Zella Johnson in Memphis, Tennessee. He married Cassandra Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Homes (Walnut Grove) in Memphis, TN.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026 at 12:00 PM in the First Baptist Broad with officiating. Burial will take place at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
