Mrs. Ruby Faye Sherrill Smith, 91, of Denver, North Carolina transitioned on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the home of her grandson in Lincolnton, North Carolina.

She was born in Iredell County, North Carolina on January 18, 1935 to the late Lola Bell Sherrill Anderson. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The body will be placed in the church on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

A public viewing will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
