Ruth Player, 75, widow of Pickney Gamble, died Saturday, March 28, 2026 at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, Florence, SC. She was born April 19, 1950 in Clarendon County South Carolina. A daughter of the late Henry and Ruth Brayboy Player.

Public viewing 2PM til 6PM Friday, April 3, 2026 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC.

Celebration of life 11AM Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Turebeville, SC. Burial will follow in the church yard cemetery.
