Funeral service for Mary Wilson, 92, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Christ Temple Holiness Church, 610 Clanton Street, Opelika, AL 36801 with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Bishop Kenneth Carter, Sr. will officiate.

Mrs. Wilson, who passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026 in Broadview, Illinois, was born May 28, 1933, in Lee County, Alabama.

Mrs. Wilson will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two children, Dorothy Jeannie Coleman and Frank (Tracy) Burton; seven grandchildren, Jason Clark, Christopher (Chris) Clark, Treavious (Trea) Fisher, Treasure Burton, Tristani Burton, Brian Keith Phillips and Cocoa-Michelle Williams; eleven great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Barbara Peters and Odessa Peters; two special cousins, Gaynell Allen and Juanita Slaughter; a special bonus granddaughter, Kimari (Christian) Caldwell; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
