John leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Pat Ettson Sturdivant of Apex, NC.; daughter Mia Patrice Sturdivant, Apex, NC.; mother Mary Sturdivant, Hamlet, NC; two sisters: Glynnis Sturdivant, Holly Springs, NC and Deanna Sturdivant, Hamlet NC; five sisters in law: Terri Ettson, Johnnetta McKeithson, Teresa Ettson, Shelia Ettson, and Jackie Ettson of Durham NC; three nephews: Ronnie and Mitchell McKeithan, and Khalil Nicholson; six nieces: Lisa Mckeithan, Lauren Holding, Shante Loftin, Alonza Pamplin, Chyna Kitt, and Asia Nicholson; three great nephews: Sheldron Parker, Stokely Holding, and Carson Lockleer; one great niece Tristen Chambers and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial service on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Apostolic House of Deliverance, 2806 Cheek Rd. 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Funeral service on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at First Baptist Church, 329 West Avenue, Hamlet NC. 2:00 pm.
