Roberts death has shaken my spirit, but it has taught me a valuable lesson. Never leave things left unsaid. For years I have tried to get in contact with him to apologize but I guess not hard enough. I know his spirit is there comforting his wife and family so I just want to say from the bottom of my heart that I am sorry. The last time we seen each other was in 1997 and I said some ugly things and I wish I could have told you face to face how I felt back then and that I am sorry for my behavior. I wish you could have seen me in my military uniform or met my children. I shed tears has I type this because you will forever mean so much to me.
