MS. ANN BERNICE SHORT, age 57, of Chesterfield, South Carolina peacefully departed this life on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

The Services to Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Ms. Short will be on Monday, April 13, 2026, 2:00pm, Pee Dee Union Baptist Church, 72 Chestnut Street, Cheraw, South Carolina.

The Short Family will greet family and friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Monday, April 13, 2026 at the church and at all other times at the family residence.

Interment will follow in the family plot of the Rock Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 393 Rock Springs Church Road, Ruby, South Carolina.

The public viewing will be on Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 1:00-5:00pm at Smith's Funeral Home, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
