MR. JAMES THOMAS GADDY, lovingly known as “Wade” to all his family and friends peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Atrium Health Union Hospital, Monroe, North Carolina surrounded by his loving family.

The Homegoing Services will be on Sunday, April 12, 2026, 2:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be private.

The Gaddy Family will greet family and friends on Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 1:30-2:00pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel and at all other times at the family residence.

The public viewing will be on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 4:00-6:00pm at Smith's Funeral Home.
