Willie Clifton Cole passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026. He was born to the late Lizzie Hudson and Roosevelt T. Cole on February 17, 1945, just steps away from the mighty Mississippi in Memphis, Tennessee. His love, kindness, intelligence and intuitiveness will be missed by many.

A lover of music, culinary arts, and many fascinating aspects of our universe made his life full of continuous curiosity, bestowing his knowledge and wisdom on the many lives that he touched. Willie’s legacy will live on.

The family will hold visitation on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at R.S. Lewis & Sons, 374 Vance Avenue, Memphis, TN 38126. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 1169 Kerr Avenue, Memphis, TN 38106. Burial will be immediately following the service at Elmwood Cemetery, 824 South Dudley Street, Memphis, Tennessee 38104.
