Jessie Merriweather-Randle, 91, of Memphis, TN passed away on April 04, 2026 at her home in Memphis, Tennessee surrounded by her family. Jessie was born on March 1, 1935 to Bye and Addie Millon-Merriweather in Hernando, Mississippi. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, Memphis Alumni Chapter. Jessie was a retired educator for over thirty years at Klondike Elementary School.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bye Merriweather and Addie Millon-Merriweather,

She is survived by her spouse Angelo Randle; one son, Kevin Sidney (Keschia Gaston-Randle) Randle; and three grandchildren, Kevin Angelo Randle, Kyla Kishay Randle and Keris Sidney Randle.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17th, 2026 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church 7786 Old Poplar Pike. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at 12:00 PM in the New Bethel M. B. Church Germantown with officiating Pastor Donald Ester. Burial will take place in New Bethel Church Cemetery.
