OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mr. Warren Ray Washington, Sr., 59, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Pastor Neal Citizen will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Washington’s memories are being cherished by: his mother, Betty Fountain Washington of Opelousas, LA; six sons, Jordan (Samantha) Richard of Carencro, LA, Warren Washington, Jr., Marcus Clark, Victor Washington and Randall Jackson, all of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Nesha Renee Clark of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Kevin (Karen) Washington of Port Barre, LA and Larry (Dionne) Washington of Opelousas, LA; four sisters, Sharline McCarthy, Carolyn Lee (John Young), Louise Lee and Vickie Roberts (Gilbert), all of Opelousas, LA; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his wife, Ezola Washington; his father, Joseph Washington; two brothers, Kenneth Washington and Terry Washington; and one nephew, Aaron Washington.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ.
