David Milton III, was born in Quitman, Georgia on August 11, 1973. He was the son of David Milton, Jr. and Yvonne Jennings Milton. He was preceded in death by his eldest sister, Yvette Davina Milton.
At a young age, David accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior at a young age and became a member of Young Reaper Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral guidance of the late Bethel Ransom.
On Monday, March 30, 2026, the angels of the Lord came and escorted David Milton, III home for his eternal rest.
David was affectionately known by family as "Sack" and known by friends as "Big Dave." He attended the public schools of Madison County, Florida. Following graduation, he attended ITT Technical Institute in Jacksonville, Florida where he obtained his Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronics Technology. He was a dedicated Lineman for the City of Quitman for 26 years.
Forever cherishing his precious memories are his loving wife: Tonya Fulton Milton; daughters: DaVonna Milton and Germyia Davis; son: Armante Fields; granddaughter: Armani Fields; goddaughters: Alissa Fulton and Reshay Dixon; sisters: Pamela (Derrick Hill), Karla (Darrell Graham) and Valkeıthsha Rowles; sister-in-laws: Deborah (Ronnie) White, Shelia (Willie) Lewis, Regina Manning, Priscilla (Thomas) Bryant; brother-in-law: Demetrius (Angela) Hadley; special cousins: Robert Howard, James Jackson, Jr. and Elesha Baker; aunts: Marie Brinson, Jessie Marshall, Alice Moore (Gary), Daisy Bolden, Joyce Cofield (Eddie, Wanda Shelton (Philip); uncles: Jerry Jennings, Jarfus Milton, Daniel Milton (Tawanda); and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 10AM at First Baptist Church in Quitman, GA with Rev. Alonzo Fudge, eulogist and Pastor Renee Theophille, officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visit this website to view a livestream of the celebration.
