Mrs. Louvenia Fountain was born on January 27, 1940, in Quitman, Georgia, to her parents, Ellen Waters and Hayes Arnold, who both preceded her in death.

She was joined in holy matrimony to Clarence Lee Fountain, who preceded her in death.

She joined Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Quitman, Georgia, under the leadership of Dr. Joe Troupe, and continued to worship and serve as the Church Mother at Mt. Moriah: The Word Church, Inc., under the leadership of Dr. Sharon Breeden, Pastor.

She is preceded in death by her son, Charles Fountain. Her brother, Issac Arnold. Her sisters: Jenny Williams and Mattie Bartee, and her two grandsons.

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, God stretched out his arms for Louvenia to return home to him. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories to her loving and devoted eight grandchildren: Wesley Jack Fountain of Detroit, Michigan; Johnny Fountain (LaVada); James Fountain (Monique); Jessie Fountain (Itisha); Loretta Larkin; Joann Wolfe (Justin); and Shirley Ann McCloud (Sidney, Sr.) all of Quitman, Georgia. Shelina Fountain (Ozell) of Adel, Georgia. Two sisters: Maggie Andrews and Maudie Virgil both of Quitman, Georgia. Two brothers: Robert Waters Hewitt and James Arnold, both of Quitman, Georgia.

Mrs. Louvenia will be missed dearly by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, church family, friends, and other relatives.
