Nolton Davis Jr.

Passed 04/07/2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Nolton, on April 7th, 2026. He was a cherished husband, devoted father, and a friend to many.

He served as a patriot, a soldier, a knight and a devout Christian. He lived as a family patriarch, a “PaPa” to generations, a doting grandfather and an adoring great-grandfather. Born on October 4, 1936, Nolton – affectionately called Junior and Junebug by his family – lived his life with kindness, humility, integrity, and unwavering love for his family.

Nolton is survived by his children, Zenovia, Yolanda, Rosslyn and Christopher, his grandchildren, Brenden, Bethany, Jaxon, Jace, Quinn and Ty, and his great-grandchildren Quincy, Kayden and Kaylani. He was preceded in death by his wife Ada, his siblings Earline, Dean, Lilly Mae, Nathanial, Carolyn, Magdalene, James, Joshua and Margaret. He was known above all for always opening his home and heart to everyone… welcoming friends, family and acquaintances alike, feeding ALL at his table. He will be remembered for his warm smile, gentle nature, quiet demeanor, “I-can’t-hear-you-but-thanks-for-coming” grin and an infectious laugh. His legacy lives on in family he supported, the countless lives he touched and the memories we hold dear.

A funeral service will be held on April 17th at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church located at 5416 Henderson Way, Camp Springs, MD 20746 with visitation at 12 pm, services beginning at 1 pm and a repast gathering at 2:30 in the Knights of Columbus social hall at 3611 Stewart Rd, Forestville, MD 20747 where friends and family are invited to celebrate his remarkable life. A livestream will be available for those that are not able to travel https:// youtube.com/live/Pt1wsOKVj2Q.

In keeping with Nolton’s generous and giving spirit, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association, the Alzheimer’s Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project.

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
