It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Mildred Mathews.

Mildred Davis Mathews, 85, transitioned on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Funeral service will be 11:30 A.M. Friday, April 17, at Jacob Chapel Baptist Church, Tallahassee, FL.

Viewing will be from 12:00 (Noon) to 6:00 P.M. Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memories two children, Matthew Green Sr. (Tiwana) and Antonio Mathews Sr. (Chrystal); four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; four siblings, Clara Davis, Charlie James Davis, Marilyn Davis-Holmes, (John Sr,) and Thomas Reginald Davis; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
