Sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences. When I think of losing a loved one as you have, it brings to mind the promise that the Bible holds out at Revelation 21:3,4 where it says that the Grand Creator Jehovah God will wipe away sickness and death forever and reunite us with our loved ones on a clean earth in the near future.(John 5:28,29; Psalms 83:18) jw.org website for more encouragement.

May you find strength and some comfort in the words found in Nahum 1:7 which reads: ”Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him.” Our loving God cares about us and is ready to bring us comfort if we allow him (1John 5:14). We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: 'Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress.' Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG
