We're sorry to hear about your recent loss. May you find strength from the words of Philippians 4:13 which says: 'For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power.' What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.

We're so sorry you are mourning the loss of your dear loved one. Not much can soothe the pain this sorrow brings, but we hope the words of Psalms 34:18 can help some. It reads: “Psalms 34:18 Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We can rely on our loving God to provide comfort in these troublesome times. He also has made the Surprise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise! (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29). This is Sure to come because everything God says, he does without fail (Isaiah 55:11). Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG

Sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences. When I think of losing a loved one as you have, it brings to mind the promise that the Bible holds out at Revelation 21:3,4 where it says that the Grand Creator Jehovah God will wipe away sickness and death forever and reunite us with our loved ones on a clean earth in the near future.(John 5:28,29; Psalms 83:18) jw.org website for more encouragement.

Praying for the family and friends of Ed. I had the pleasure of meeting Ed during our son, Chris Jones' college graduation celebration, where Ed catered the event. From the first time meeting him until the last time seeing him at Chris' wedding, he seemed like part of the family. He had a genuine love and concern for those he met. I feel blessed to have met such a gentle giant. May the God of all comfort grant you all peace during this time and in the days ahead.

This loss that Class of 1991 is experiencing has been one to remember. Some classmates just knew the name 'Troubleman' others knew both Edward and 'Troubleman' but all the same we have lost one of our very own and it hurts. My prayer is that God gives us strength to endure and go through, continue to keep his hands on us and bring comfort to us all. Class of 1991 send love and prayers to your Clio family , your Durham family, your Fraternity family and to all of those who loved you as family.

The Culmer Family offers its sincere condolences and its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Mr. Edward Cook, and the men of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and alumni of North Carolina Central University. Mr. Cook was humble, compassionate, giving, caring, and went above and beyond the call of duty to help his fellow man. He always had a contagious smile and a funny sense of humor. His passion for cooking and serving others was mirrored in every event he catered for. Our last encounter was at the Durham Alumni Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Black and White Ball (June 8). Ed appeared to be on cloud 9 spending time with his brothers and seeing familiar faces. We will miss you Ed. Heaven has gained an angel. #Lifeisprecious #Enjoylife2dafullest #grateful #thankful #honored
