Flora Ridinger, 94 of Wichita Falls, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026, in Nocona, TX.
Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, TX.
Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 19th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
Flora Faye was born August 20, 1931, in Jester, OK to Howard and Laura (Nippert) Griffin. She lived in Bowie until 1992, when she married Herbert Riddinger and moved to Petrolia, after Herbert’s passing, she moved to Wichita Falls. Herbert was a door greeter at Walmart and after his passing, Flora was given the job. She worked at Walmart until she was 85 years old, after having had a bad car wreck and was declared legally blind.
In her younger years she was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Bowie, until moving to Wichita Falls and joining the Western Hills Baptist Church. She enjoyed church, church activities and her church family.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Davis; a very special friend, Doug Hill; her second husband, Hebert Ridinger; her fiancé John Bowers; her brother, Will Griffin and stepson Paul Ridinger.
Flora is survived by her son, Michael Davis; daughter, Debbie Jones and husband David; 3 stepchildren; 4 grandchildren, Kaz Jones and wife Beth, Jamey Jones and wife Joyce, Kat Dyess and husband Clay, and Lori Krebb and husband Daniel; 6 great-grandchildren, Xander Jones, Uriah Jones, Haven Jones, Haisley Jones, Hazel Dyess and Violet Dyess; 6 step grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren; and numerous niece and nephews.
