Leroy “June” Battle, Jr., 86, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026.

Funeral Service 2:00pm Friday, April 24, 2026 at Mt. Zion First Baptist Church, 320 W. Thomas Street, Rocky Mount, NC. 27804 Rev. Nehemiah Smith, Pastor and Dr. Wallace Cherry, officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at Mt. Zion First Baptist Church.
