Teresa Naomi Adams, 61 of Bowie, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 18th, 2026.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28th, at the New Covenant Family Church in Bowie, with Rev. Paul Moore officiating.

Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 27th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.

Teresa was born on November 11, 1964, in Exeter, CA and attended school in Bowie. In her younger years she enjoyed time spent coon hunting with her brothers, creating memories she carried with her throughout her life.

Teresa dedicated many years of her life to her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She had a deep passion for her work and truly loved what she did, and her presence brought comfort to many. She had a love for life and always strived for perfection in all that she did. Teresa found joy in the simple things, like watching The Andy Griffith Show, and spoke of how she would like to live in Mayberry—a place she felt everyone was kind.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jim Pike and grandparents, Claude and Jennie Moore.

Teresa is survived by her children, Shawn Holt and wife Mica of Bowie and Amber Holt of Wichita, KS; her mother, Alice Pike of Bowie; grandchildren, Shaun Claude Fowler, Payton Faith Holt, Solomon Givens Jr., Simion Givens and Saige Givens; brothers, David Pike and wife Ruby, Jimmy “Dewey” Pike, all of Bowie and Johnny Holt of Sherman, TX; sister, Melissa Diannitto-Smith of Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
