James Edwards, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on April 12, 2026. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Jericho AME Zion Church, 5251 Hobbie Rd., Montgomery, AL 36105. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Edwards will lie in repose one hour before the funeral service at the church.
