Funeral Service for Markeisha A. Wilson 42, will be Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 2:30 pm at the Anniston Funeral Service Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Ms. Wilson passed away on April 12, 2026.

Markeisha was born in Anniston, and later moved to North Carolina and lived with Aunt Boots. "Keisha" went to school in N. Carolina. Later in life, she moved to Birmingham, Al, Keisha was full of life and was known to tell a few jokes and have everyone laughing. She loved music and could be heard humming out the tune to a favorite song. Markeisha was family oriented.

Survivors include her mother: Nadine Wilson; her father: Ronald Tyson; sister: Marilyn Woodard-James (Darryl); brothers: Rodrick Woodard (Chandra) and Antonio Woodard (Shantay); great aunts: Emma Blackmon and Mary Ransaw "Aunt Boots"; favorite cousins: Valarie Ward, Veronica Ransaw Parker, (Del) and Otis R. Ransaw (Lil O), plenty of cousins, nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
