David was a man of strong work ethic and dedication. He faithfully served as a machine operator for Battle Lumber Company for 30 years and also contributed his time and skills at the Farmers Gin. Through his work, he provided for his family and built a legacy of perseverance and commitment.

Beyond his profession, David embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. He had a deep love for fishing and could often be found enjoying the peace of the outdoors. Gardening was another passion, where he took pride in nurturing and growing. He enjoyed dancing, bringing energy and laughter wherever he went, and his skills in carpentry reflected his ability to work with his hands and create with care. Known for his quick wit and warm personality, David had a natural gift for making others smile—he was truly a comedian at heart. He was also a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves, always cheering on his team with pride.

While David had many talents and interests, nothing meant more to him than his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. His grandchildren, in particular, held a special place in his heart and were truly the apple of his eye. He cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

David leaves to cherish his memory his devoted and loving wife, Sylvia M.
