Bernard’s Family Funeral Care, The Madison Chapel, announces with heartfelt sympathy the passing of Mrs. Betty Jo Thomas, affectionately known as Mrs. Judy. Mrs. Thomas entered into eternal rest on April 28, 2026, peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at The Madison Chapel, located at 1086 Ward Road, Madison, Georgia 30650.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Barrows Grove Baptist Church, 1600 Barrows Grove Road, Buckhead, Georgia 30625. Mrs. Thomas will lie in state one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
