Funeral service for Earnestine Evans, 74, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 650 Jeter Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801 with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 West View Drive, Auburn, AL 36832, Reverend Clifford E. Jones will officiate.

Mrs. Evans, who passed away Friday, April 24, 2026 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL, was born August 2, 1951, in Lee County, Alabama.

Mrs. Evans will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her memory: a son, Forson (Kami) Evans III of Auburn, AL; three grandchildren, Forson Evans IV of Auburn, AL, Camron Evans of Oxford, MS and Kayli Evans of Auburn, AL; one great-grandchild, Ivey Evans of Auburn, AL; an uncle, John Works of Syracuse, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
