It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Inez Virginia Johnson Williams.

Inez Virginia Johnson Williams, 96, died Friday, May 1, 2026.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Bethel M.B. Church with burial at Southside Cemetery.

Viewing will be from 12:00 (Noon) to 6:00 P.M. Friday, May 8, 2026 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williams taught at Gilchrist Elementary School for over thirty years.

She leaves to cherish her memories a host of loving family and friends.
