Costell Smith, a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and church mother, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at the bless age of 93.

She was born June 6, 1932, in Midway Florida to the late Gersie and George Robinson. She was the second youngest of eight children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie A. Bennett Sr.; her daughter, Cynthia Jackson; two granddaughters, Monique' Jackson and Franzetta Mathis.

Survivors include one son, Willie A. Bennett Jr. (Marjorie); a sister, Hattie Robinson; granddaughter, ShaLinda Bennett; great grandson, Willie A. Bennett III and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Graveside service will be 10 A.M. Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Midway Community Cemetery in Midway, Fl.
