Mattie Bennett Witherspoon, 88, widow of Carl Lee Witherspoon died Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at her residence. She was born October 7, 1937 in Gable, SC. A daughter of the late Turner Lee and Viola Kennedy Bennett.

Public viewing will be held 2PM til 6PM Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Hayes F. Samuels, St., Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC.

Celebration of Life 2PM Friday, May 15, 2026 at Melina Presbyterian Church Gable, SC. Burial will follow in the church yard cemetery.
