SANDERS, Mrs. Bernice H., a resident of Shorter, AL, passed May 2, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Mary Magdalene Missionary Baptist Church, Shorter, AL. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sanders will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
