Mary Lee Spearmon was born on March 25, 1957, to the late Abraham Dunlap and Mary Lee Hall. She was educated in the Flagler County Public School System. Mary confessed Christ at an early age and later became affiliated with the Baptist faith.
Mary was united in marriage to Paul Spearmon Sr. on March 25, 2000. During their years together, she enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, and having simple cookouts with loved ones. Mary’s love, warmth, and presence will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in eternal rest by her husband, Paul Spearmon Sr.; son, Ahmad Laster Sr. (Erica); sisters, Willie Lee Scippo, Naomi Hall, and Priscilla Williams; and grandson, Key’Marion Hall.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: daughter, Vernetta Johnson; sons, Leon Brown Jr., Ernest (Harriet) Hall, Javon Dunlap, and Jermodris (Gertrudis) Dunlap; brother, David Lee Hall; godchildren, Kiawan Stokes and Maddie Verdell; one who was like a son, Rhomias Williams; like a daughter, Alesha Rowland; 32 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends; and best friends, Janice Gilliard, Valerie Verdell, and Evylene Cooper.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2026, St. James MB Church
