Lenora Lay, 83 of Glendale, Kentucky died Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Baptist Health Hardin, in Elizabethtown.

Mrs. Lay was a member of First Baptist Church where she served as a Trustee, Treasurer, member of the Senior and Adult Choir, Officers Wives, Senior Saints. She was also a member of Rising Star OES 102.

She was preceded in death by both her amazing husbands, Allison A. Westbrooks- US Army KIA Vietnam and Sereal L. Lay Sr. - US Army Veteran; parents Willie C. & Gracie “Hicks” Mays; two brothers Willie Mays and Marvin Mays; two sisters Scharlie Mays and Anna Mays Goins.

Her memories will forever be cherished by her two sons, Sereal Jr. (Amanda) Lay and Willie (Melissa) Lay; two daughters Waynel Lay and Avis (Mario) Burrow; one brother Larry Mays; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, May 18, 2026 at First Baptist Church, Elizabethtown, with Rev. Roderick Jones, officiating. Burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.

Visitation at Percell & Sons Funeral Home, Elizabethtown after 6:00 p.m. Sunday May 17, 2026 with OES services at 7:00 p.m.
