Funeral services will be Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Road, Marrero, LA 70072 with burial in Restlawn Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, 3540 US 90, Avondale, LA 70094.

Charles B. Holloway was born on October 9, 1931 in Walthall County, Mississippi to the parents of the late Percy (Sang) Holloway and Ella Mae Luter. He departed this life on March 1, 2019 at his daughter's home in Harvey, LA. Charles was a lifelong resident of Westwego, Louisiana.

Charles confessed Christ at an early age. He was baptized in Bethlehem M.B. Church in Walthall, MS, Charles had a strong work ethic. He worked at Morrison Cafeteria, A&G Cafeteria and Piccadilly Cafeteria in New Orleans, LA., totaling over 40 years. He took great pride in pleasing his customer, this trait transferred to his family life as well. He was a great provider, supporter and would tell you thank you even for the little things you did for him. Although he was a bit quiet, he was strong, and he spoke his heart. Charles impact many lives with his humble and generous character.

Charles entered into Holy Matrimony to late wife Ollie Mae Bradley-Holloway for 26 years.

Charles B. Holloway was the last of five siblings. He was preceded in death by his wife Ollie Mae Holloway and three brothers, R.D. Holloway, Ray Holloway, and Percy Ray Holloway and one sister Emma Lee Bridges.

Charles leaves to cherish in his memories, one daughter, Linda Brown (James); two sons, Charlie Holloway (Michelle) and Euwell Holloway; nine granddaughters, Regina Burrell (Neal), Kiesha Sernet (Kevin), ReKeitha Goodman (Baron), Jasmine Holloway, Haley Holloway, India Holloway, Brittney Mayfield, Semaj Brown and Lyshonda Ruggs; two great grandson, Gabriel Sernet and Allen Rugg; four great granddaughters, O'Riah Goodman, Nalah Goodman, Annabella Holloway, and Olivia Mitchell and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
