Obituary Lancelot Wayne Matthews was born February 14, 1958 in Georgetown, Guyana to the late Sheila Goring Wingfield and Lancelot I. Matthews. Lancelot entered the United States in 1963 where he resided in New Jersey for the remaining of his youth life. Once he graduated High School, he wanted to advance his career opportunity by entering the Military National Guard as a Commander of the Tanks. He leaves behind one daughter: Melanie; two brothers: Colin and Keith; two sisters: Jill and Christine; nieces, nephews: Shanaz, Rehana, Ashura, Yonnie, Zamarah, Sabrina, Zoeniba, Santana, Christine, Kimberly, Selena, Nick, Mariah, Colin Jr. and Ruby.
