Lenora Williams Smith was the last child of Louis Williams and Mamie Williams, born in Memphis, Tennessee, on February 10, 1942. Lenora was raised in love with two brothers: Louis and Amos (both deceased), and four sisters: Lula Jackson (deceased), Mae Anna Jackson (deceased), Frances Williams (deceased), Augusta Morris, and Geraldine Shaw (deceased). Lenora accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and sang the praises of the Lord in the choir at Temple of Deliverance. Lenora later retired from the choir but never stopped singing the praises of the Lord.

Lenora gave birth to six children who honor her today. Renay Williams-Parker - husband: James Parker (deceased), Pamela E. Williams, Leon L. Williams - wife: Delicia Williams, Adrienne W. Alexander - fiancé: Keith Miller, Cassandra L. Rogers - significant other - Frank Parker, Sherrita L. Smith, and Bonus Daughter - Tuesday Robinson. Lenora has 18 grandchildren: William J. Parker, Jonathan L. Ingram, Leon D. Williams - wife: Loletha Williams, AeKeyla Bennie (Bonus Granddaughter), Ashley Smith (Bonus Granddaughter), Morgan Williams, Taylore Williams, Briana Alexander, Terry Alexander, Sierra M. Williams, Ariyanna Smith, Jaden Smith, Bryson, Smith, Jordin, Smith, Kingston Smith, Karter, Smith, Azarah Smith, and Amiri Smith, and 12 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews who love and cherish her.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at RS Lewis & Sons 2944 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38111. Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 14, 2026 11:00am at Temple of Deliverance COGIC 369 GE Patterson Ave, Memphis, TN 38126

Interment will be in New Park Cemetery 4536 Horn Lake Rd, Memphis, TN 38109
