A Celebration of Life for Mr. Jimmie Lee Newson will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Ave. Tampa with Rev. Dr. Patricia Hauser, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Jimmie Lee Newson was born August 26,1954, in Homestead, Florida. He was a lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida and was educated in public schools of Hillsborough County.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Edna Slaton, Jimmie Newson, sister Brenda Newson, niece Belinda Dooley, and nephew Quinton Girven.

He leaves to cherish his memories his (6) children, Marissa Doughty (Alex), Latoya Mason (Antonio), Karen Newson (Dewayne), Carolyn Newson, Eric Worlds (Tasheba), and Eris Worlds. Also, nine (19) grandchildren: DaQuan, Lyndajzha, Zaria, Zy’Keiryah, Alexis, Jalen, Ja’Niyah, Jazman, Eric Jr., Elijah, Tiana, Zion, Xavier, Dewayne, Jawan, Devin, Ty’Rek, Kahlin, Rai’Seania (3) great-grandchildren,2 brothers Albert Dooley, Joe Dooley (15) nieces: Alicia (Daryl), Bridgette, Bershawn,Treaca, Bernetta, Alexis, Brittany, Rita, Shereka, Lakeisha, Ebony, Deborah,(3) nephews: Anthony, Ethan(Candace), Jermaine, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 6-8 p.m.
