Elizabeth T. Green

Passed 05/09/2026

Mrs. Elizabeth T. Green, lovingly known by many as (Totise) a woman of strength, style, laughter, and unwavering love for her family. Peacefully transitioned on May 9, 2026.

Born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, she was the beloved daughter of Jesse & Geneva Truesdell. And the baby child of 8 siblings, who preceded her in death.

Elizabeth attended Lucy C. Laney High School and later pursued her certification as a CNA. She dedicated herself to caring for others until her health no longer allowed her to continue.

She shared a devoted 39 years of marriage with Raymond E. Green. Together they built a family grounded in commitment through life's many changing seasons. To know Elizabeth was to know humor, strength, and style all wrapped up into one unforgettable woman.

She was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves cherished and fond memories to a devoted husband, Raymond Green, of 39 years. Six children: Latosia (Demarcus) Beard, Laneequa (Fredrick) Truesdell, Terrance (TeenaMaria) Truesdell, Earl (Melone Sedgwick) President, Demetrius (Neffertiti) Truesdell, and Devonte Green (Alexis James). Thirteen grandchildren: Darryl Hamilton II, Caleb Truesdell, Kinyon Truesdell, Khloe E. Turner, Tyson Truesdell, Brandon, Brianna & Briasia Mason, Kingsley President, Major President, Khyia Rickerson, Keon & Khalil Green; two great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews and friends that will carry her memory in their hearts.

To know Elizabeth was to know humor, strength, and style all wrapped into one unforgettable woman. She could make you laugh when you needed it most, turn heads with her fashion sense, and keep her children in line with what the family jokingly called “USDA-certified discipline.” Her love was strong, protective, and deeply rooted in wanting the very best for those she loved.

Elizabeth enjoyed life’s simple but meaningful pleasures: good music, a lively bingo game, beautiful fashion, and most importantly, sharing a good meal surrounded by family and laughter. Her presence brought warmth into every room, and her spirit left lasting impressions on all who crossed her path.
