It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Eddie Nathan.

Eddie Nathan, 76, heard the voice of Jesus and answered his call on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Eddie was a native of Tallahassee, Fl. and attended public school in Leon County.

He leaves to cherish a loving and devoted wife, Dianne Nathan of 38 years of Tallahassee, Fl.; one son, Jamil Nathan (Tenisa) of Jacksonville, Fl.; one daughter, Chelsy Nathan of Tallahassee, Fl.; one brother, Jesse Forbes (Lynda) of Tallahassee, Fl.; three sisters, Dorothy Davis of Haines City, Fl.; Peggy Haire of Charlotte, NC. and Linda Calloway (Willie James) of Tallahassee, Fl.; one granddaughter, Ja'Lehia Nathan of Jacksonville, Fl.; and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.

Viewing will be from 12:00 (Noon) to 4:00 P.M. Friday, May 22, 2026 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Mitchell; father, Nelson Nathan; one brother, Jerome Forbes.
