Tamyha Nykel Roberts, age 27, departed this life May 14, 2026 in VCU-Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill, VA. She was also preceded in death by her grandfather- William Roberts.

Tamyha was a 2016 graduate of Central High School, Kenbridge, VA. She was employed by Sonic for a few years then Richmond Traffic Control while living in Fredericksburg, VA and lastly in Logistics at MC Dean.

In her spare time, she enjoyed being with her children, family, and friends. Tamyha loved amusements parks, especially the Roller Coaster rides. She also adored dancing and tasting “weird” foods.

Tamyha leaves to mourn her three children- Messiah Ramos and the twin girls- Alani and Alaia Ramos, all of the home; parents- Carolyn Simmons (Keith), South Hill, VA; Brian (Jesusa) Roberts, Jacksonville, NC; three brothers- Kahmell Roberts (KeHonesty), White Plains, VA; Shyhiem Dunson, Japan, and Alexander Simmons, South Hill, VA; four sisters- Epi Javier, Jaiden and Jordyn Roberts, Jacksonville, NC and Yuri Roberts, Japan; grandparents- Julia Roberts, Chase City, VA; Gloria Simmons and John McCoy, both of South Hill, VA; uncles- Richard (Vanessa) Roberts, Atlanta, GA; Kenny Roberts, Lamont (Natasha) Roberts, all of South Hill, VA; Chris (Daneisha) Wilson, Midway, GA and Camarion Simmons, South Hill, VA; aunts- Chandreka Simmons, Bowling Green, VA; Thelma (Charles) Robertson, and John’ae Jones, all of South Hill, VA and a host of great aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
