Funeral service for Edmond Rowell, 69, of Tallassee, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Rose Hill Cemetery, 960 North Ann Avenue, Tallassee, AL, 36078, Reverend Ocie Jackson will officiate.

Mr. Rowell, who passed away Friday, May 15, 2026 at Dadeville Healthcare Center in Dadeville, Alabama, was born February 6, 1957, in Macon County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, May 22, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Carolyn Rowell of Tallassee, AL; two children, Michele Reed and Jennifer Rowell both of Tallassee, AL; one grandson, Javon Smith of Wetumpka, AL; two great-grandchildren, Jamarcus Reed of Tallassee, AL and Jada Reed of Riverview, FL; three brothers, Jesse Rowell, Luke (Geri) Rowell both of Montgomery, AL and Matthew Lee Rowell of Fitzpatrick, AL; four sisters, Savannah (Sandy) Jennison of Montgomery, AL, Doris Ann Bennett of Hardaway, AL, Varie (Curtis) Phillips of Tuskegee, AL and Shirley (Thomas) Parnell of Fitzpatrick, AL; one brother-in-law, Wilbert (Bernice) Reed; devoted friend to the family, Jerry Sutton of Tallassee, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
