Theodore “Biggie” Vick, 74, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family.

Mr. Theodore Vick was born on January 29, 1952, in Greenville, Florida, to Edward Theodore Vick and Mary Lee Bryant Vick. Affectionately known as “Biggie,” he was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and, above all, a proud Papa. His life was defined by his deep and unwavering love for his family, a quality recognized and cherished by all who knew him. Though often reserved, Mr. Vick had a warm and gentle spirit that shined through to those who took the time to know him.

Throughout most of his life, Mr. Vick dedicated himself to farming, a profession that became central to his identity. His strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family were evident in all he did. In addition to farming, he also worked in the road construction industry prior to his retirement.

Mr. Vick is survived by his loving wife, Fannie Sue Vick (Norris) of Quitman, Georgia, and his seven children: Theodore Vick, Jr. and Juanita Cook, both of Quitman, Georgia; Mary M. Vick (Thomas) of Ocilla, Georgia; Joyce Vick (beloved Marven Chappell II) of Dixie, Georgia; George A. Vick (Felicity) of Valdosta, Georgia; Glenda M. Weldon (Shawn) of Ocilla, Georgia; and Dewayne Vick (Jennifer) of Tifton, Georgia.

He also leaves to cherish his memory nine grandchildren—Austin, Kayla, Devin, Gregory, Zachary, Alex, Grayson, DeShawn, and Jayden—eight step-grandchildren —Jaylin, Mayson, James, Tiffany, Jeremiah, Lauren, Allysa, Andrea, and six great-grandchildren— Kayden, Raylen, Alana, Legend, Chloe, and Emory. He is further survived by his sister and brothers-in-law: Lynda Snow Vick, Vena Griffin (Carlton), Jerry Norris (Nancy), Stanley Norris (Carol), Mark Norris (Becky), James Norris, Katie Norris, and Glenda Norris, along with a host of nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

Mr. Vick was preceded in death by his father, Edward Theodore Vick; his mother, Mary Lee Bryant Vick; his twin brother, Theo; his brothers, Edward, Raymond, Charlie Dell, and Roger Dell; his sister, LaFaye Vick West; his granddaughter, Alexis Leigh Cook; and his beloved son-in-law, Marven Chappell II.

Mr. Vick’s life will be remembered for his quiet strength, his dedication to his work, and most importantly, his enduring love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the many lives he touched.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman, Georgia with Rev. Marvin White officiating.
