PUBLIC VISITATION for Deacon Leroy Ray will be Friday, May 29, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.

THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Deacon Leroy Ray, of Chicago, Illinois will be Saturday, May 30, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Zion Valley Baptist Church, in Panola, Alabama. The body of Deacon Leroy Ray, will lie in state in the church one hour prior to the service. 


INTERMENT will immediately follow the funeral service in Zion Valley MB Church Cemetery, also in Panola, AL. Reverend Marvin Washington, Pastor of Zion Valley M.B. Church will be The Eulogist.
