John Henry Horton

Formally of Nashville - Passed away March 5, 2019 in Charolotte, NC. He was born January 30, 1916 to the late William and Mae Esther Parks Horton in Clifton, NC. He served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by wife, Carolyn Helen Vantrease & daughter, Sandra Horton Love. Deacon Horton is survived by nephews John Horton (Evelyn), Romie Horton (Doris), Joseph Horton (Arnita), nieces, Elizabeth Powell, Marilyn Whittington (Warren), Karen Horton. and a host of grand nephews and nieces and many friends. Visitation Saturday, March 9, 2019, 10-11 am with funeral to follow at Tabernacle of Glory 945 S. Douglas Ave. Burial in Middle Tn. State Veterans Cemetery. Terrell Broady Funeral Home
